• BookChat AI does not provide full book content.
• All responses are generated by third-party services and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

2. No Ownership of Book Content

BookChat AI does not own, host, or distribute copyrighted book content.

• Book-related information is provided via third-party services, including OpenAI and Open Library.
• We make no representations regarding copyright status, accuracy, or licensing of third-party content.
• Users are responsible for ensuring their use of any information complies with applicable copyright laws.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to function, including but not limited to:

• OpenAI Platform (AI-generated responses)
• Open Library (book metadata)

BookChat AI does not control and is not responsible for:

• The content generated by third-party services
• Service interruptions or failures
• Data handling practices of third parties

Use of the App is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers.

4. User Responsibilities

By using BookChat AI, you agree that you will:

• Use the App for lawful purposes only
• Not rely on the App for legal, medical, financial, or professional advice
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, abuse, or misuse the App or its services

You use all AI-generated content at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• BookChat AI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the App
• We are not responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided by the App
• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App itself—including branding, design, and software—are owned by BookChat AI or its licensors.

• No rights are granted to users except the limited right to use the App as intended
• Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice.

9. Changes to These Terms
