Privacy Policy for Background Remover (BGR)

Background Remover ("BGR", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Information We Collect

The App does not collect, store, or share personal information such as names, emails, or contact details.

When you use the App to remove backgrounds from images:

  • Image Upload: Your image is sent to a trusted third-party API for processing.
  • Modified Images: The third-party API may store the modified version of your image for functionality (such as download access or temporary file retention).
  • No Storage by Us: BGR itself does not store your original or modified images.

How We Use Information

We use your image solely to provide the requested background removal service.
We do not:

  • Store images ourselves after processing
  • Use your images for analytics, tracking, or advertising
  • Sell or share your images with third parties outside the processing service

Third-Party Services

The App relies on a third-party API to process and deliver modified images.

  • The third-party API may temporarily store the modified version of the image to allow you to download or access it.
  • The original uploaded image is not stored permanently.

Advertising

BGR does not display ads and does not use advertising networks.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data during transfer and processing. Images are transmitted securely to the third-party API. The modified file may be retained by the API as part of their service, but we do not control or access that storage.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on this page, with the date of the latest update clearly shown.
